Charity Fashion Show a Sellout

On Wednesday 24 October 2012 St Neots hosted it's first charity fashion show at the Priory Centre.  Local retailers came together to put on two catwalk shows which were a huge success and a credit to all those who volunteered.

A total of £1,673.96 was raised which will be divided equally between Cancer Research UK and the Mayor's charities for 2012/2013.  The show was hosted by Mark Hansard and Pete Revell presenters of our community radio station Black Cat Radio with lighting provided by Sound and Light Partnership.

Retailers showcased their autumn and winter collections from Beales, Beautiful Swagger, Bon Marche, Chanceuse Lingerie, Edinburgh Woollen mill, Goldstraw Goldsmiths, M&Co, New Look, Scope, Specsavers and Wallis.  Hair and make up were created by Benefit, Estee Lauder, Molbys and Saints.

Cllr Barry Chapman, Mayor of St Neots said "A wonderful evening of fun and fashion enjoyed by hundres of people showcasing our local retailers.  Fantastic prizes, free goody bags and much raised for charities.  A brilliant reminder of what is available in St Neots and why we should shop locally."
