Charity Golf Day Raises Thousands
Our summer has been brilliant this year and then the weather decided to give us some rain for the Mayor's charity golf day on 22nd August. However this did not deter the teams as they played their rounds of golf and a good day was had by all and resulted in over £8000 being raised for local charities! This is an amazing amount and our thanks go to all those who entered, our sponsors, the Rotary Club of St Neots St Marys and especially to Wyboston Lakes Golf Centre.

Town Mayor, Cllr Hansard says "The Deputy Mayor, Cllr Usher and myself really enjoyed meeting and socialising with all the players. It was a great day and we both look forward to an even greater day next year."
Barry Jordan of the Rotary Club of St Neots St Marys says "This is a very impressive total to raise and will be shared between the Mayor's charities, the Hutchinson Family Trust and the Rotary Club of St Neots St Marys Charity Fund."
Winning teams were:
1st Place - The Pidley Pirates (pictured above)

Saturday turned out to be a great day with beautiful blue sky and warm sunshine, perfect for a spot of Dragon Boat Racing and a Festival. Town Mayor, Cllr Hansard joined in with the festivities and even tried a spot of dragon boat drumming.
Later on in the afternoon medals were presented to the winning teams.
