Mayor of St Neots Charity Ball Rasies over £5000!

On Friday 1st March 2013 Mayor, Cllr Barry Chapman, hosted his annual charity ball at the Priory Centre in St Neots.  Over 200 guests attended and included MP, Jonathan Djanogly and his wife Rebecca, Civic Leaders and members of the public.

A raffle on the night raised over £1,000 with prizes donated from local businesses including a gold necklace from Goldstraws Goldsmiths, annual fitness membership from One Leisure and a season ticket from St Neots Football Club.

The money raised will go to St John's Hospice in Moggerhanger, dementia sufferers and carers in the St Neots area and the St Neots Air Training Corps.

The evening was a great success with entertainment from local magician Lee Walker and popular band Life and Soul with guests dancing the night away until the early hours.

On behalf of Cllr Chapman we would like to thank all those who helped make this ball the success it was.
